How Settle works
Four steps, from the driveway to paid.
Quick answer
You tap the mic and describe the job. Settle writes a priced, line-by-line estimate using your own prices and marks any price it had to guess with an orange dot. You text it from your own phone; the customer opens a link, and you see when they view and approve it. The approved estimate becomes the invoice, and the customer pays by card, Apple Pay or bank to your own Stripe account. Settle takes no cut.

- "Invoices suck." A worker buried in paper.
- "Say it. Send it. Get paid. Settle!" The chant, one word per beat.
- Say it: "Talk. Describe the job." On the phone: "Water heater swap, flex lines, drip pan."
- "It writes the estimate with your prices." Labor $750, a 40-gallon gas water heater $1,100, flex lines $25 and a drip pan $65, for $1,940. The drip pan has an orange dot because Settle guessed that price, so you check it.
- Send it: "Text it from your phone." The customer gets "Your estimate: $1,940. Tap to approve," and you see Viewed, then Approved.
- Get paid: "They pay from the link." The $1,940 invoice is paid with Apple Pay, straight to your own Stripe account, with no cut to Settle.
- The chant again, then a dance break.
