Exclusions to put on every sprinkler repair estimate
- Broken lateral or main lines found during repair priced before digging further.
- Controller replacement quoted separately.
- Utilities located through 811 before digging where required.
- Plants and turf disturbed in the dig area are restored as closely as practical.

What matters in sprinkler repair estimates
- Show the service call. One line answers what the customer owes if they say no.
- Count the heads. "6 spray heads" is a number the customer can walk the yard and check.
- Write the hidden-pipe clause. You can't see a broken lateral until you dig.
- Offer the extras separately. A new controller or a backflow test are choices, not part of the repair.
