For pressure washers
A pressure washing estimate and invoice app
Measure it, say it, send the number before you get back in the truck.
Settle fits pressure washing well because most jobs are quoted on the spot: walk the property, describe the house wash, driveway and extras out loud, and Settle writes a priced estimate from your own rates. Text it from your own phone, the customer approves from a link, and when the job's done they pay by card or bank to your own Stripe account. Sending unlimited estimates and invoices is free. It's iPhone only and doesn't do scheduling.
What a pressure washing estimate looks like
Standing in the driveway you say: "Soft wash the house, two story, about 2,200 square feet. Surface clean the driveway, roughly 800 square feet, and brighten the front of the gutters." Settle writes:
| Line | Qty | Price | Total |
|---|---|---|---|
| House soft wash, two story | 2,200 sq ft | $0.15 | $330.00 |
| Driveway surface clean | 800 sq ft | $0.18 | $144.00 |
| Gutter face brightening, front | 60 ft | $1.25 | $75.00 |
| Total before tax | $549.00 |
Example prices only. Settle uses your own rates, and marks any price it had to guess with an orange dot.

What matters in pressure washing estimates
- Quote by the square foot or linear foot, and show it. "800 sq ft at $0.18" is a number a customer can check. A lump sum invites haggling.
- Say soft wash or pressure wash. Siding, roofs and painted surfaces are usually soft washed. Naming the method on the estimate tells the customer you know the difference.
- Write down what you won't promise. "Rust, oil and irrigation stains may not come out fully." "Oxidation on gutters may need a second treatment." This is the sentence that prevents the callback.
- List what the customer handles. Cars out of the driveway, windows closed, plants and furniture moved, outdoor outlets covered.
- Water access. If you need the customer's spigot, say so. If you bring water, it can be a line item.
What Settle does for pressure washers, and what it doesn't
It's built for the quote-it-in-the-driveway part of the job. Describe the work, fix any price with an orange dot, and tap Send: Messages opens with the text written, the estimate link and the PDF attached, from your own number. You see when the customer opens it and when they tap Approve. After the job, one tap turns the estimate into an invoice with a pay link. The money lands in a Stripe account in your name; Settle takes no cut and never holds it.
Settle doesn't schedule jobs, plan routes, or track a crew. There's no Android or web version. If you run several rigs with techs, a field-service tool like Jobber is built for that; compare them on the comparison page.
Pressure washing questions
What is the best estimate app for a solo pressure washer?
For a solo operator on an iPhone who quotes on site, Settle is free to send unlimited estimates and invoices, writes the estimate from what you say using your own rates, and pays to your own Stripe account. If you need scheduling and crew dispatch, Jobber or Housecall Pro are built for that.
Can I price by the square foot in Settle?
Yes. Say the square footage and your rate, or let Settle use the rate you charged last time. Each line shows the quantity, unit and price, and you can edit any of them.
Can Settle draft an estimate from photos?
Yes. Take up to 3 photos and Settle uses them, along with what you say, to draft the estimate. The photos stay with the job in the app; they aren't added to the PDF or the estimate page your customer sees.
Should I take a deposit on a pressure washing job?
For a one-day wash, most operators invoice on completion. For bigger jobs, such as sealing or commercial work, a deposit can make sense; check your state's rules in how much deposit to ask for.
Quote your next wash by talking.
Free on iPhone. Unlimited estimates and invoices. 7 days of Pro to try the voice drafts, and you cancel in two taps.
