A junk removal estimate needs your business details and license number, the customer and job address, one line per task and material with quantity and price, the total, any deposit, what is excluded, and a place to approve. The template below is the generic contractor estimate pre-filled with a junk removal job so you can see what good looks like, plus the exclusions junk haulers most often forget. Exclusions to put on every junk removal estimate
- If the load goes past half a truck, each additional quarter load is $150, agreed before loading.
- No paint, chemicals, fuel, asbestos or other hazardous waste.
- Customer confirms everything in the pile is to be removed; we don't sort or keep items aside unless asked.
- Price includes loading, hauling and standard disposal fees; donation drop-off on request.

What matters in junk removal estimates
- Name the load size. "Half truckload, about 7 cubic yards" shows what the price covers and gives you a fair way to adjust.
- Write the overage rule. One line on what a bigger pile costs stops the argument at the tailgate.
- Surcharge items get their own line. Mattresses, refrigerators and tires cost more to dispose of. Separate lines explain the price.
- Get the approval before you load. Once it's in the truck the price conversation is harder. Have the customer approve first.
