A pressure washing estimate needs your business details and license number, the customer and job address, one line per task and material with quantity and price, the total, any deposit, what is excluded, and a place to approve. The template below is the generic contractor estimate pre-filled with a pressure washing job so you can see what good looks like, plus the exclusions pressure washers most often forget. Exclusions to put on every pressure washing estimate
- Rust, oil, irrigation and hard-water stains may not come out fully.
- Customer moves vehicles, furniture and planters and closes windows before the start time.
- Oxidation on gutters or siding may need a second treatment, quoted separately.
- Customer provides water from an outdoor spigot unless noted.
Terms that fit pressure washing work
Valid for 30 days. Weather may move the date; we confirm the day before. Payment due on completion by card, bank transfer or check.
What matters in pressure washing estimates
- Show the square footage. "800 sq ft at $0.18" is a price a customer can check. A lump sum invites haggling.
- Name the method. Soft wash for siding, roofs and painted surfaces; pressure for concrete. Saying which tells the customer you know the difference.
- Write the stain disclaimer every time. Rust and oil stains are the most common callback. One line on the estimate ends that conversation.
- Say what the customer does. Cars out, windows shut, outlets covered. A list on the estimate means you're not moving patio furniture for free.
