Exclusions to put on every appliance repair estimate
- Diagnostic fee is due if the customer declines the repair.
- Other failed parts found during repair are quoted before replacement.
- Part availability may delay the return visit.
- Parts carry the manufacturer warranty; labor warranted for 90 days.

Valid for 14 days because part prices change. Payment due on completion by card, bank transfer or check.
What matters in appliance repair estimates
- Say what happens to the diagnostic fee. Credited toward the repair, or not. Either way, write it down.
- Model number on the part. It's what you'll order, and it shows you know their machine.
- Repair or replace. If the repair costs more than half a new unit, say so on the estimate.
- Keep validity short. Part prices move. 7 to 14 days protects your margin.
