A landscaping and lawn care estimate app for solo pros

Sprinklers, sod and cleanups, quoted from the yard.

Published October 27, 2026 · Updated November 4, 2026 · by Settle

Quick answer

Settle works for one-off landscaping and lawn jobs: describe a sprinkler repair, sod patch or cleanup out loud, get a priced estimate, text it, and get paid to your own Stripe account. Sending unlimited estimates and invoices is free. It doesn't schedule routes or bill recurring mowing automatically yet. It's iPhone only.

What a landscaping estimate looks like

Walking the yard you say: "Three rotor heads are broken and one zone valve is leaking. Replace the heads, rebuild the valve, and patch about 120 square feet of sod where the line was dug up." Settle writes:

LineQtyPriceTotal
Labor: sprinkler repair and sod patch3 hr$70.00$210.00
Rotor sprinkler head3$19.00$57.00
Zone valve diaphragm kit1$18.00$18.00
Sod, patch area120 sq ft$0.85$102.00
Total before tax$387.00

Example prices only. Settle uses your own prices, and marks any it had to guess with an orange dot.

What matters in landscaping estimates

  • Quantities and units. Square feet of sod, cubic yards of mulch, number of heads. They show where the number comes from.
  • Materials separate from labor. Material prices swing with the season.
  • Hauling and disposal. Green waste and debris cost real money. Give them a line.
  • Weather and access. Note that a rainout moves the date, and that locked gates or dogs mean a return trip.
  • Watering instructions. New sod needs care. Putting it on the invoice protects you from "it died".

What Settle does for landscapers, and what it doesn't

It's built for job-by-job work: repairs, installs, cleanups and seasonal one-offs. You describe the job, send the estimate, the customer approves, and you invoice with one tap. The payment goes to your own Stripe account. Settle doesn't schedule crews or routes or bill a weekly mowing plan on its own. If your income is mostly recurring routes, you'll want a route tool for that, and Settle can handle the one-off jobs next to it. There's no Android or web version.
